Galaxy No. 3 Video

I've added this movie link to the page on ArtBuzz where you can actually buy Galaxy No. 3, but I'm posting it here as well for those who might have missed it. Over 11 feet long, this is my largest kinetic piece yet. Although it doesn't move fast, a medium breeze will push it around.

It's right outside the window in my new office and every time I look up it's in a different position. I think one of my favorite things about the piece is that I can stand comfortably under the base with about 8 inches of head room. I'm not really sure why I like to stand under it, mind you. Perhaps I am easily amused. Or maybe I identify with Dionysius, ancient tyrant of Syracuse (yes, that's what google's for, eh?).
