Woo hoo! It's official. I am now writing for Land + Living, one of my most favoritest design blogs. Of course, as a paid writer, etc, I probably won't be using words like favoritest. Heh. I'm going to spend a bit of time figuring out their custom interface, but I'll probably begin posting stuff there in the next couple days. This is likely the moment when it finally becomes handy to have set up my own blog on about five different services before choosing TypePad. I just knew there'd come a day when that whole nomadic blog thing would become worthwhile.
Of course, I'm not gonna get rich and quit my art gig with this. I'll be pulling down whole dollars, probably, from a percentage of the google ads run on their site. But it does give me a good place to write about all the various things that don't often make it into this blog. I'll mostly be focusing on art and materials (ie: new building products, etc.) but I suspect there will be a fair mix of other design and eco stuff that fits the general mission over there.
When it's really official, as in once my first post goes live at L+L, I'll throw a link in here so you can go check it out. In the mean time, I'm off to go talk about a potential public art job over Indian food. Yay!
