Days Like This, It's Fun To Be Me!

Hugh just posted a link to my little rant on the power of blogging. Rock on.

I think maybe I'll take the time to write up some of the strategies that have made the Global Microbrand work so well for me. I mean, yeah, I got the basics from Hugh and Seth but there are a few little tricks that worked especially well for art, etc. I have a feeling that this year is going to be the fastest, craziest, wildest ride yet (but in a good way. You should hear some of the stories of other wild rides I've had… you never really get tall enough to ride them without white knuckles).

If you found my blog via Hugh, and you want to hear more on business, marketing and world domination via blogging, leave me some comments to get inspired by. Or email me. I've got two major projects that have kept me from posting as often as I like but I can always be bribed with attention and praise… And of course, buying art is good too!

Okay, I must go finish these drawing before 5 pm EST, but I'll be around and online all night.

About John

John T. Unger If my job as an artist is to fill the world with "more things," I feel it is equally important that I reclaim materials from the waste stream to make space for my work. — John T. Unger

I believe creative re-use has the potential to spark new ways of looking at the world… if one thing can be turned into another, what else can we change? Successful recycled art encourages creativity in others— it's alchemical, magical, subversive, and transformative by nature. Read On
