I love your bowls and that picture of the three bowls on the pilasters/pillars..looks great! My client wants unique, and this fits the bill! I’m attaching a picture of the pool so that you can see what I’m doing and where the bowls will go.We're both pretty excited about working together to realize the design above. It's not a done deal until her client signs off on the project, but I wanted to post the rendering Joni sent because it's so freakin' cool. I'm definitely gonna have to ask her what software she's using to do these.
I'd like to do a lot more bowls with gas burners this year… The bowl I did for a client in Maryland came out really awesome, though I'm still waiting for photos of it installed. For both that project and the Topeka bowls I had custom burners created by Automated Fire and Water Effects, Inc. in Las Vegas who did an amazing job and were a pleasure to work with. Their burners aren't cheap (at all) but they're safe, durable, easy to install and best of all, they come with remote controls! I'm going to try to get a display model this summer so that I can have live fire with the press of a button. I mean, how cool is that!
The other thing I like about gas burners for the Great Bowls is the fact that it's a bit more eco-friendly than burning wood, since both propane and natural gas burn cleaner with less emmissions. Drop me an email from the contact page if you'd like more info on pricing or timeframes for custom or gas fire bowls.
